Kitchen

[Mr. Fantastic]

Reed walked into the small kitchen of the Baxter Building. He took a look inside the fridge. It was recently filled, which was a nice change. He had been able to get some funding since he became a hero, and it had let him keep the eletricity pumping and the food fresh. He picked out an apple and sat down to eat it and read the paper.

[The Thing]

Ben walked into the kitchen and saw that Reed was already there. [glow=brown,2,300]"Hey Reed."[/glow] Ben said has he opened the fridge and got the gallon of milk for himself and sat down next to Reed.

[Mr. Fantastic]

((its mourning btw, sorry I didn't put that))

"Hey, Ben," he said as he looked up from the newspaper, "so, did you sleep good?"

[The Thing]

[glow=brown,2,300]"Slept like a rock."[/glow] Ben said with a chuckle has he began to chug his milk.

[Mr. Fantastic]

Reed hoped that was a joke, since Ben did say with a chuckle, but he still didn't laugh, just in case.

"Well.. thats good, I was worried Johnney might try to jerk your chain again."

[The Thing]

Ben finished chugging his milk and turned to Reed [glow=brown,2,300]"Im not worried about Johnny, eversince what he pulled with the shaving cream on me when we arrived here, Ive been sleeping with my eyes open."[/glow]

[susie]

Susan was sleeping until she heard noise coming from outside of the bedroom. She got up and put a robe on and walked to the kitchen.

"Am I interrupting you two?"

She asked, as she walked over to Reed and gave him a kiss on the cheek then walked to the fridge and got something for herself to eat.

[Mr. Fantastic]

Reed was glad to see Sue come into the room for two reasons. One, of course, was that he was madly in love with her and that rooms seemedto light up when she enterred. The other though, was that he didn't know if it was a good thing or bad thing that Ben slept like a rock....

"Not too much, just a little breakfast," Reed said simply.

[The Thing]

Ben turned to Suzie [glow=brown,2,300]"Morning Suzie sleep well."[/glow]

[susie]

"Yeah, I did."

She sat down on the chair which was near Reed. She looked terrible this morning. She had those awful bags under her eyes, but she wasn't a model so she didn't have to look great all the time.

"Any good news this morning?

She asked Reed, who had his nose buried in the paper like usual.

[Mr. Fantastic]

"Well, some good some bad, and as usual, the media gives the bad a selling spin and the good is made out to seem bad, but, as far as I can tell, they are giving us a break from the spotlight today."

[The Thing]

As Ben when to the fridge to get something to eat after his drink he turned back to Reed and Sue [glow=brown,2,300]"Hey just to let you two know were out of milk."[/glow] Ben then came back with bowl of cereal and sat back down.

[susie]

"That's alright, we need a break."

She looked at Ben.

"Isn't?"

She asked Ben, though she knew for her it was a good break. But, she knew how Johnny loved the attention. It would be nice not for those tabloid papers to have supposed "insider" information on what was going on in her life.

[The Thing]

Ben turned to his attention to Suzie [glow=brown,2,300]"Well I for one would love a break, have you seen this article about me."[/glow] Ben then hold up a the magazine he was talking about.

[Mr. Fantastic]

Reed saw what Ben was talking about, not flatering at all. He didn't have a whole lot to talk about as far as being hurt in the tabloid area, which didn't have a lot of room for the team in its magazine after it got past Johnney's lifestyle, the fact that Sue was the woman on the team, and Ben's overall condition. There were some articles about him, just not as many.
