She scutteled backwards, barely avoiding getting hit by the hammer. Her back hit the side of a trash bin, and slowly, she felt a nasty sounding growl forming in her throat. Oh yeah, she was definatly feeling trapped.

Reed knew that he couldn't just let loose on her. He wasn't going to try to explain a street pancake resembling a woman, but, he wasn't about to loose the only fight he had been in without the team. He tried another swipe with the hammer while she was pinned, still looking for the best way to go about the whole thing after each step he took.

She had gotten into a crouching position and when he swiped at her, she snarled as she ducked down and pounced forward at him. She expected him to dodge, and then she could escape.

Reed had been far apart enough from her to see the attack coming and he whipped around his hammer hand and used his other arm to try to entangle her within both arms. He was no one's fool and he could see that some sort of difference in her style of combat. Before, she had just been evading and running, now, she went for an offensive strike Reed took note of that .

She ducked the hammer hand, but wasn't able to avoid the other hand. Instantly, she started clawing with claws instead of regular nails. At this point, she was getting desperate to get away. This was obviously, a fight she couldn't win.

Reed saw he had her... again, the repetitiveness of all of this was pretty annoying, but then, why should it not be? It wasn't like the fights in books were close to the truth, you did what you could and when you found something that worked, you used it until it didn't or you had something better.
"So, how many times are we going to have to go through this?" he said, trying to sound intimidating.

"Fine...You win." She pulled the wallet out of her pocket and dropped it on the ground. No sense in getting the crap beat out of her. In truth, she wasn't really intimidated. The only reason she gave up was simply because she saw how futile it was.

"Ok," he said, using his free hand to grab the wallet.
"Now, to get a hold of the police..." he said, trying to keep a hold of her and stretch until he could reach a pay phone and started to dial 911.

"..Oh yes..Get ahold of the cops so they can turn me over to BGT..Very smart." She said with a low growl. BGT was short for BioGenetic Technologies. It was a company that specialized in genetic sciences. There for awhile there had been a nasty lawsuit involving human genetic experimentation. The charges had been dropped due to lack of evidence.

"What?" he asked, putting down the phone without dialing the last one. "BGT?" he asked, not aware of such a group. Was she already a wanted woman by some organization or something...

"Are you that stupid? BGT is BioGenetic Technologies. Almost everyone has heard about em. Especially with that lawsuit last year." Oh yes, she was wanted. Though, it wasn't really through any fault of her own.

"Well, I'm not the one who tried to pick pocket someone whos all over the news for taking down a terroist. Anyway I've heard of it, its just not the first thing that comes to my mind," he said, thinking she wasn't really in any place to call him stupid. Many things didn't bother him, but he couldn't help but retaliate when someone tried to demeane his only real God-given talent.
"Give me a reason why putting a theif behind bars makes me stupid."

"Gee..I don't exactly watch the news. I'm usually busy trying to stay alive." She was guessing that since he was the hero type, that he felt sorry for people. Maybe she could play those feelings to her advantage. "Well for one. I'm one of BGT's little freaks. They'd find out about me and come up with some way to get my out of jail and well..End what they started."

Reed didn't know what to make of this whole thing. The BGT case had been pretty big, but he had thought it had all gotten some form of being worked out. But, when had any group ever given up after it was told to?
"Not that the whole situation isn't terrible, but if you willing to do to regular civilians what you did to me for 10 dollars, then I couldn't sacrifise the well being of others just for the chance to help one," he said, going back to the phone and dialing.

"Tch. Some hero you are." With that said, she squirmed around a bit and then tried to bite him. She would rather die than to go back to that place. Even though she'd die going back. Either way, she'd rather die free than in a cell.
