The red head stood under a building canopy, watching the people walk past. She didn't have anything planned for the moment, but things could always come up. However, she wasn't counting on it. She was actually hoping for a nice quiet evening. Nice and quiet, in NYC? Might as well as ask for world peace.
Aryn softly chuckled to herself as she watched the people scurry about like headless rats. She hated humans, absolutly dispised them. Hence why she hunted them. It was always fun to do so. A smirk formed on her face for a moment. Then the smirk faded. She was not the type of person to show emotion. Didin't see the point in it in truth. So, she leaned against the building, waiting for something interesting to happen.

Reed had just picked up some parts he had needed from the local Radio Shack, which, of course, only supplied him with less then he needed. But, it would be some time before stores had the gear to cater to the mind of Reed Richards.
He had tried to keep a low profile, as to not cause any public attention and just treid to keep to himself as he walked toward the Baxter Building, which lay several blocks away.

Well, Aryn wasn't one to constantly keep an eye on the news, so she didn't know much about the various heros that ran around the city. She only knew about the stuff that she heard on the street. Quietly, she watched the various people walk by. Soon, she spotted a man that looked like a prime target to snatch his wallet. Yeah, she was many things. She was a theif, a murderer, a freak..
She moved into the crowd, following after the man. Ironically, if she had known she was planning to steal from Reed, she would have had seconds thoughts. She thought that this was just some regular person. So, she stalked him, sizing him up, planning her next move.

As he walked along, Reed expierenced the feeling that he was being watched. He sighed and shook his head, it was a scientific fact that you couldn't tell when someone was looking at you, so he dismissed the thought. He could almost see the tall Baxter Building where he was, which meant he was only about three blocks away now.

Slowly, she moved closer, trying to spot his wallet. Generally, men kept the wallet in the back pocket. The wallet was her target of course. Since that was where the money would be, or at least check cards and credit cards. At this point, she could always break away, but she needed the money and well, she wasn't about to back down.

Reed couldn't shake off the feeling, no matter how much he told himself that it wasn't logical. He tried to quicken his pace, just for his own peace of mind, after all, if he was recognized, he might have to talk to a reporter or something. The bags at his side hit slightly against his leg, so he continued at a normal pace so he wouldn't brake anything stupidly.

There! She spotted the wallet. Left back pocket. Swiftly, she sped up her pace as if she was in a hurry, and moved past the man, trying to lightly bump into him. The bump was a ploy to distract, while she tried to snatch the wallet. She had many years of experience of being a thief, so it was a tactic that rarely failed. If she did succed in getting the wallet, it would be palemd and pulled intot he sleeves of her oversized coat. If she failed, well, the day was still young.

Reed was lightly bumped into by a young woman, but it fealt as if there was a light tug on his back pocket. He was used to being stolen from, since he had been the target of stuff like that all his life. He dropped his bags.
"Hey! Look, give me back my wallet and I wont have to call the authorities on you," he said, wondering who would steal from someone like him and not wanting to have to fight her himself.

She glanced over her shoulder at him, her reptilian eyes momentarily visible. Then she broke into a run and started weaving her way through the crowd. When caught, always run. She would check the contents of the wallet later on. Hopefully, there would be a nice amount of money in there to keep food in her stomach.

Reed used his powers to stretch his legs and make himself cover more ground swiftly. He didn't have much money, since only recently had he even been able to pay the bills that had piled up, but it was the principle of it all, he reached back and grabbed his bags and set them on top of a tree and continued persuit of the woman. She had shown an odd gleam in her eye, he wondered what it meant.

Under her breath, she muttered various curses as she ran. A couple people yelled at her as she ran past them, cussing her out. She didn't care, she just wanted to lose the guy. Turning into an alley, she lept onto a dumpster and then jumped over the wooden fence. Fromt here, she ran down the alley way and back onto the busy sidewalk.

Reed had a hard time keeping up with her, even using his powers. He wasn't sure the wallet was worth the hastle, but he kept following. Ben and Johnney would probably love an oppertunity like this, but he wasn't as much of a fighter. She was in his sites again, after a long line of twists and turns. He stretched his arms to try to grab her.

Just when she thought she was going to get away, she was grabbed. Immediatly, she struggled. She was not about to let herself get caught. Especially by some stretchy dude. Well, turns out she picked the wrong person to steal from? Wasn't the first time.

Reed pulled back his hand, though it was hard for even him to keep a good grip on her.
"Look, its still not too late to just me back the wallet, I assure you, it doesn't have more then ten dollars in it," he said, still not wanting to make this drag on any further then it had to.

"Well, ten dollars is enough to get me food for two or more days." Especially if she went to McDonald's and did the dollar menu. She continued to struggle, trying to get away. Her movements were almost like a wild animal trying to free itself..
