Reed stopped moving his hand for a moment. Could she really need the money that bad? But, the thing was, if she left with the money with time, then she would steal again, and the next person wouldn't have powers to defend themselves.
"Come on, what do you think the odds are of you leaving with it?" he asked.

For the moment, she stopped struggling, it was taking up energy. Besides, she could already try to escape when he least expected it. "Fairly good as far as I'm concerned." She kept a tight grip on the wallet, she wasn't about to let it go.

Reed couldn't understand her. Why in the world did she think she could still get away? There was no logic to that, she obviously wasn't super powered like himself and had even tired of struggling...
"Look, I can make the space in there really small if I want, give me my wallet back," he said, demanding.

The girl was smart, she knew what she was doing. She had a predator's sharp intellegence and put it to good use. "I'm not giving it back. I need the money." It wasn't time to try and escape yet. She could tell that he was already lulled into a false sense of security.

She had called his bluff. Hypothetically, he could have shrunk his hand and made the space smaller, but he had no idea what she could take and wasn't about to kill anyone over ten dollars.
"Ok, we'll lets just take a trip to the polics station then," he said, picking up his hand and walking a few steps.

"You wish." She said with a hiss before struggling again, this time, with all of her strength. This time, she tossed in some punching and kicking, though, she wasn't sure on how well it'd work, but it was always worth a try.

A bit suprised at the sudden attempt at freedom, his grip loosened. As soon as he could, he use his other hand to send a punch at the woman. She was definetly a more then a petty theif, since any of them would have taken the chance to give the wallet back and go. He was tired of dealing with this and it was getting late.

As soon as the grip loosened, she tried to worm her way to freedom. With her being such a small person, she could get out of most tight situations, though, she wasn't sure if she could get out of this one. She was a stubborn person, hence why she refused to let go of the wallet.

Reed tried to maintain his grip on her, but he lost it and stretched toward her, but outside of regular arm's reach. "How long are we going to have to keep this up?" he asked. This was ridiculous, was she just trying to win for the sake of it, no one would fight like this for just ten dollors, no matter how broke they were.

She sprinted away once more. The red head was a fighter, pure and simple. It kept her anger under control and kept her stress down, for the most part. Though, she hated it how she kicked most everyone's butt, or was able to get away from them.

Reed chased after her, he had been ready this time and, tired of the whole thing, sent a giant fist at the theif. He had wanted her to give up and stop this madness, but he saw it was tool ate for that now.

The fist hit her square in the back. With a grunt, she hit the ground and rolled a few feet. She laid there a moment and groaned as she slowly started pushing herself up off her stomach. No doubt her back would be one big bruise later on.

Reed saw his opperatunity, he made a grab for the wallet as he ran in closer. He knew he should have taken a bus or something home...

Immediatly, she flipped over, taking a swipe at his hand with her hand turned claws. Clearly, she wasn't human. At this point, she was feeling trapped and that was never a good thing.

Reed's hand was cut into, by what fealt like claws... The woman certainly didn't have finger nails to such a thing, but his theory that this wasn't a run of the mill theif had just been proved. With his other hand, which he morphed into a hammer like shape, he swiped as her, hoping to knock some of the energy out of her.
