Realizing that he needed a place to stay John found an apartment in the lower east side of Manhattan. "Yeah this place will do nicely." John said as he put most of his stuff from the circus in a corner of the room and decided to arrange it later. Feeling he needed to take break from the Ghost Rider, Johnny decided to take nap on his bed and head out later in the day.

As he slept bad images came into Johnny's mind, images of the night he became the Ghost Rider. The images became so intense Johnny awoke sweating and shaking "Huh...huh...man what a bad dream." Johnny then got out of bed and headed to the bathroom to get some aspirin and some sleeping pills "Now I'm thinking i shouldn't go out tonight." Johnny said as he took the pills and turned on the TV hoping it would calm his nerves.

As Johnny watched the TV his headache started to come back "AHHH...Oh god...the pain." Johnny fell to the floor and grabbed his head. The noise was so loud that you could have heard it 2 blocks away.

Johnny heard knocking coming from the door to his apartment but he couldnt answer it all he could was scream in pain as his head started to burn up. The more Johnny moved around on the floor the more damage to the area around him

Johnny didn't know what was happening around him, so when he felt the Scarlet Spider he threw him to a wall. The strength of the Ghost Rider was to strong, just then Johnny started to transform into the Ghost Rider.

Johnny transformation was complete the Ghost Rider saw the Scarlet Spider on the floor but didnt care. The Rider then started to run and jump through the open window and fall from the floor that they were. And landing next to Johnny's chopper on the streets Ghost Rider started to use his powers to change the chopper into his hellcycle.
