Well, the X men III movie has arrived at last. The Movie was a disappointment to me. Brent Ratner has changed the overall appeal of this marvel franchise. Don't get me wrong. The movie will go on to make lots of money and probably out sell the previous two films. But Bryan Singer's vision was more along the lines of what many X Men fans have come to like. Ratner's characters seemed handcuffed. Character's like Wolverine weren't allowed to develop a feel for the story. In the first two films, you felt for the characters struggles. In the new film, an onslaught of action and explosions replaced the character development. Also a change with the music from the first two movies made it foreign to the observer. A movie is more than just a visual experience. The sound helps provide a connection to the characters and overall feel for the film. Don't get me wrong, I most likely will buy it on DVD to add to my Marvel movie library. However, I cannot help but wonder if Singer had had the reins, how different X III would had been. (more enjoyable to those who have grown to like the X men movies.)

I loved this movie. My biggest problem with X3 is how they wasted Angel and other characters. Beast was the only new character that was well developed.
