Fury said, "We're currently tracking Spider-Man, we'll know who he is soon, and then there's the Fantastic Four, Daredevil, and others rumoured."

"Well, we consider the mutants threats, but we don't know enough yet. Spider-Man seems to be a good fella. Daredevil is rumoured to have taken down the Kingpin of Crime and the Fantastic Four are proven heroes. We won't be getting involved with the FF unless it's needed."

"We don't know how big a problem mutants are yet, the only one we know of that's actually been in anti-human activities is Erik Magnus Lensherr, if you ask Dugan, he'll give you the file. Anyway, he calls himself "Magneto". Anyway, an anti-mutant military man already tried something, you see, the President himself says this Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters is actually some kind of mutant training ground. What're your thoughts here Cap?"

"Well, if really is a training ground, then we may have a problem. I used to know someone who had some kind of accelerated healing that he had been born with. He was a tough customer then, but I'm sure he'd be as old as I'm supposed to be by now. Anyway, if it was just a simple gathering of them, I would be concerned, but the fact that they could be training there, that pushes it over the top."
