"Alright, so just to get the story straight, you come across two things fighting, one human one not, and you attacked the dinosaur figuring it to be the evil one, which makes since. He was only bruised at the time of your arrival. So how do you come out of this with, as you described, only a few cuts and bruises."

Steve had been operated on while all of the discussion had taken place out there. It was already over, since they only needed to seal some wounds and relocate his arm. his body, being in top phsyical condition and since it had been treated with the best treatments known to man, was healing quickly.
