After the incident with the X-Men, Creed had simply vanished off the face of the earth. Oh, but he was back. Here he was, in New York City, Central Park to be exact. Calmly, he walked down the path, staring through the darkness. Surprisingly, there were few people out. All the better. It would provide a better challenge to hunt them down. The mere thought of hunting and listening to the terrified screams of his prey sent shivers down his spine. A dangerous and borderline insane grin formed on his face, revealing his teeth.
Silently, he stalked across the dead grass, listening for his quarry. Soon, he found it. A college age young man. A jock. From the looks of it, he had just come from a party; Creed knew this for a fact. The human stank of alcohol and weed. However, he wasn’t stumbling so obviously, he wasn’t under the influence. Moving forward like a lion stalking a zebra, he stalked the human. Already, he had everything planned out. Swiftly, he circled around to face the young man. “Ello.” He said simply to the human, who looked confused. With a grin, Sabretooth grabbed the boy by the throat and slammed him into a tree.
The human clawed at his arm in an attempt to get him to let go. No such luck. Creed’s claws dug into the delicate flesh of the boy’s throat. “Good-bye.” Then, with minimal effort, he crushed the human’s throat. He thoroughly enjoyed the gurgling choking sound that was made. With a low chuckle, he flung the body towards another tree, directly at a broken off limb. The body was impaled on the limb through the stomach. Still chuckling under his breath, Creed headed away from the scene of the crime. Oh yes, Sabretooth was back.
